Price and how often it will be published?


My magazine is going to cost £2.20 and will be published on a weekly basis, this in my opinion is a good thing to do as it will give readers a weekly guide to what is going on in my selected genre of music and will give them up to date stories on their favourite artists, also I think the weekly price of £2.20 is acceptable as my target audience will probably have a lot more disposable income than people of an older generation. Also the sort of magazines I would be competing with also publish on a weekly basis, for example NME market their magazine at a weekly price of £2.40 which makes mine cheaper and more competitive in the market place.

Also I think having a weekly magazine is more advantageous because it would be making more money than just having one monthly issue as you can charge less for one copy but will be having more than one copy over the weeks in a month.
