Price and how often it will be published.

Price- When creating my magazine I am going to have to consider price and what my audience can afford, from  the demographic groups I selected (A’S, B’S and E’S) I am going to use the concept of a free magazine. I believe this is a good idea because my main target audience being students who are most likely to be E’S, this is because they’re students who are likely to be unemployed and also have very little money to spend on a college magazine. Also I would have to consider that if I gave my magazine a price it would probably not sell to well as because the audience I have targeted are unlikely to want to spend money on a college magazine as they probably have other things they’d rather spend their money on.

How often it will be published?-

I think I will publish my magazine every term; this is because in a college magazine I would need time for things to happen in the college and to also have something to write about. This is a good idea as if I did a magazine every month I wouldn’t have much to write about and it could be quite boring. This also relates back to my target audience because they’re unlikely to want to read a new magazine every month as they’ll find this quite boring and also are more likely to find more interesting information if they have a longer period of time before a new issue release.
